Financial Services Website
Crestfield Advisory
A large-scale financial services website framework combining 120+ routes, 32 service pages, 16 interactive calculators and a structured resource library.

About this project
Crestfield Advisory
Crestfield Advisory is an independent portfolio concept created to demonstrate how a substantial digital platform for an accountancy, tax or business advisory firm can be planned, designed and engineered as one coherent system.
Rather than producing a small brochure website, the project develops a complete client journey: visitors can understand the firm, explore specialist services, find location-specific information, read practical resources, use financial calculators and move towards an enquiry.
The result is a reusable commercial foundation that can be adapted for an accountancy practice, tax adviser, audit firm, outsourced finance provider or multidisciplinary professional services business.

Project Overview
What was built and why it matters
Challenge
Professional services firms often outgrow small brochure websites. They need to explain a wide range of services without overwhelming visitors, build trust in a regulated and detail-sensitive sector, support search visibility across several locations, and turn complex information into clear routes towards an enquiry. The challenge was to create that depth while keeping the experience consistent, understandable and fast.
Solution
I planned the site as a structured content system rather than a collection of unrelated pages. Reusable layouts and organised project data generate consistent service, sector, location, resource and calculator pages. Clear navigation, calls to action, responsive layouts and a restrained financial-services visual language connect the full experience. The static architecture keeps delivery fast while allowing the platform to grow without rebuilding every page manually.
Results
The finished concept contains more than 120 routes, including 32 dedicated service pages, 16 interactive financial calculators, nine location pages, specialist sector content, blog categories, reports and supporting business resources. It demonstrates how a complex advisory proposition can be transformed into a credible, scalable and commercially focused digital presence.
Business value
What this gives the website owner
Every major section was designed to support visibility, credibility, clearer client journeys or future growth.
01
Makes a complex firm easier to understand
Services are organised into clear families, helping prospects move from a broad need to the right specialist page without searching through a confusing list.
02
Creates more opportunities to be discovered
Dedicated pages for services, sectors, locations and resources give the business a broader and more relevant search footprint than a five-page brochure website.
03
Builds trust before the first conversation
Detailed explanations, practical resources and consistent presentation help demonstrate expertise before a prospect submits an enquiry.
04
Turns useful tools into lead-generation assets
Calculators answer common planning questions and provide a natural route from self-service information to professional advice.
05
Supports future growth
The structured framework allows new services, locations and resources to be added without redesigning the entire website.
06
Reduces dependence on a heavy CMS
Pre-generated pages are simple to host, fast to deliver and less dependent on a large collection of plugins.

Technical approach
Complex underneath, straightforward for the business
The technology was selected to keep a large site consistent, quick to deliver and easier to extend, without forcing the client to understand the engineering behind it.
01
Structured Node.js generation
A custom Node.js build process reads organised project data and generates the complete set of static pages. In practical terms, one controlled system keeps repeated layouts, navigation and content patterns consistent across a very large site.
02
Purpose-built front end
The interface uses semantic HTML, a shared CSS design system and focused vanilla JavaScript. This avoids unnecessary technical weight while keeping navigation, calculators and responsive behaviour under direct control.
03
Search-ready page architecture
Individual URLs, page titles, descriptions, canonical references, structured data and XML sitemap coverage were prepared to give search engines a clear understanding of the site's sections.
04
Independent financial calculators
Each calculator has inputs and assumptions suited to its own task rather than reusing one generic formula. Rates and regulated financial wording must always be professionally reviewed before a client launch.
05
Versioned and deployable
The source is managed with Git and GitHub, while Vercel provides the live deployment. Client implementations can be separated into their own repository, domain and release history.
06
Responsive by design
Layouts, menus, content blocks and conversion points adapt across desktop, tablet and mobile, allowing clients to research the firm from any device.

Commercially reusable framework

Available for customisation
A substantial starting point for professional services firms
Crestfield Advisory is retained as a SetupFocus master framework. For each suitable client, a separate implementation can be created with its own identity, content, services, calculators, repository, domain and deployment.
The displayed company is fictional. Financial calculations and regulated content require review by an appropriately qualified professional before commercial use.
A client implementation can include:
- Brand identity, colour system, typography and imagery
- Service structure shaped around the firm's real offer
- Original, professionally reviewed financial content
- Relevant calculators, resources and lead-generation journeys
- Contact forms, analytics, domain and launch configuration
- A separate codebase and deployment for the client business
